Mashable writer has ass handed to him by John Reese.

People always want something for nothing. We have been fighting the war of advertising between content providers and viewers since before I put of my first big website in ‘95. I don’t expect it to end anytime soon.

Interesting rant on Mr. Reese’s part. His follow up post, where he takes a higher road, is even more interesting.

While the Mashable guys might have had it coming, Mr. Reese can see their point of view, some of it anyway, and feels that engaging in a slap fight, no matter how satisfying, doesn’t get anyone anywhere.
