I don’t know if anyone visited the “women dominate social marketing” but that brief post may have put the female liberation movement back 40 years.

Andrew,

How so?

andrew goulding 06.03.08 at 7:03 pm

I merely meant in an observational way…but:

“…While single 20somethings are all on social networking sites due to having more time and looking for social connections…”

“…[Married women] spend a lot more time decorating their profile pages with themes, backgrounds and photo widgets like RockYou and Slide…”

…however statistically correct, wouldn’t sit well with quite a few women that I know.

I see. I have feminist friends and I would just rib them on the fact that they just can’t control what other women will do outside the ivory tower, lol.

The real world is always a shocking place for purists. I say that as someone who has some pretty lofty ideals for how the world should work and am continually disappointed by the fact that the world won’t listen to me.

That’s life.

Absolutely, Jack, a terribly shocking place. Still, you’ve got to admit, it’s always fun shocking them a teensy bit more.
