Jack,

Just found your blog, and it’s one of my daily must-reads. I’m putting a lot of time and effort into producing great content, but I’m still dwelling in relative obscurity, so tips like this are essential.

And just in case you are dying to drop the bomb on someone a little early, I wouldn’t mind the sneak preview ; )

Regards,
Chuck

Link building is important but if your website is not carrying any good content, or poorly designed, I think the visitors will never ever come back to your website again.

To me, build a great website is the first step, and link building is the only second step or whatever step it is, but it musts come after the first step.

Poor website + great link building effort = 0
Great website + poor link building effort = .5
Great website + great link building effort = 1

:) My 2 cents.

Hi Jack ,
Thanks for the list. Aaron Walls 101 legitimate linkbuilding methods was a good read. I also read somewhere he designed it as a link bait and it attracted a lot of links.

Damn , i know web 2.0 is powerful but am not getting the grove.

Thanks

Jack,
I am reading and listening to everything you and Howie have to say about Conversation Domination, the Authority Black Book, and Bend the Web. You and Howie are, in my opinion, on a different level than the other traffic and marketing experts. I honestly appreciate all of your relevant and timely info at the FTR and look to you and Howie as my main sources of information regarding traffic generation and marketing. Thanks so much for your efforts and your super info!
