Nice list of stuff. Link building is always a headache when your starting out especially. I find the biggest problem is getting targeted links right away. I have used things like TrafficSwarm before and while it did produce traffic it was all untargeted.

Really interesting stuff, I really enjoyed the link building machine idea. Although it is hard to come up with those kind of stories that often, so I think it will be hard to make a machine from start up.
