BlogRovr RSS Feed Masher Review

September 24, 2007

BlogRovr is the freakin coolest RSS feed subscription manager I’ve ever played with. Want to see what Web 3.0 looks like?

(Sorry the video quality sucks. Too tired to re-render it.)

Download BlogRovr FireFox add on.

What I forgot to show in the video is you can click on the stuff that pops up in the BlogRovr bar and view it right there where you are surfing without having to go to the site or surf away from the page you are on. Sweet!

If you aren’t publishing full feeds, now’s the time to realize that your website is not the only place people want to read your stuff. Make sure you are publishing full feeds so you don’t anger your subscribers. They’ll come to your blog at times but they also want to be mobile and expect your information to as mobile as they are.

    BlogRovr Rocks!…

Video review I just did on a tool that helps ring in Web 3.0. You’ll see what I mean when you click the freakin’ link and watch the video - cool free tool!…

Jack, thanks for the awesome review. I’m going to blog about it on BlogRovR’s blog as well.
Jean (our CTO) and I are really glad you like our efforts. We 2 think it’s time to realize one can’t read all those blogs, let RovR do it for you.

Check out the faq about how to use BlogRovR to promote your blog (put a chiclet in yourblog subscribing folks to your blog in blogrovr–talk to them everywhere on the web you have something to say, not just on your site).

Funny, you didn’t show opening the posts at all. Here’s two tips: ctrl-click on a summary in the tray takes you to the post itself in a new tab, and the tray resizes in smart ways.

Jack, thanks for the exceptional writeup.
    Yours,
    Marc Meyer, CEO, BlogRovR

    Marc,

I know - there’s too much good about BlogRovR and I forgot one of the main cool points! I didn’t want to spoil the surprise for everyone. :)

I will get to work on the chiclet next! Thanks for stopping by. You too Jean!

    Hi Jack

Just wanted to compliment you on this very cool screencast. Can’t imagine anybody who wouldn’t spare seven minutes of their time to get infatuated with BlogRovR as much as you (and I) are.

    Very, very well done.
